Robert got down on bended knee and everything, and I’m wearing a gorgeous engagement ring on my left ring finger these days!
Saturday, which turned out to be an especially lovely day for so many reasons, included: root beer floats, visiting a funny 50s-style candy shop, a leisurely stroll through our neighborhood, a dinner of fried chicken and biscuits (a favorite of mine), a proposal (!), Moscow mules at a vodka bar, and then dancing with friends to old school hip hop and lots of Stevie Wonder.
So many of my favorites (Robert among them) crammed into one day!
As for the ring, it’s a beauty! The pierced yellow gold Edwardian replica has tiny diamonds embedded in it. It’s so sparkly!
